Hi! My name is Andrea and I’d like to tell you a bit about A.M.B Photography, where my focus is bringing “The Light and Life of Nature” to you by capturing moments that bring peace to your days and nights.

Born and raised in the Midwest, I realize that the wonderful world we inhabit is changing. One may not notice it from day-to-day, but these changes are happening quicker and quicker.

I feel a sense of duty and a calling to photo document all that we have around, including us. Not only is our climate and the environment we live in ever changing, but so are we.
It is with these thoughts and passion for capturing peaceful moments in time that I ventured into Outdoor Photography.
One of my uncle's taking his oldest son for a drive on my Grandpa's old John Deere 2020. Captured in the Summer of 2019.

My passion for nature and the outdoors began as a small child, however it wasn’t until 2010 that I discovered my gift and talent with photography.

It was then I realized the beauty around us and the need for preservation. As such my focus was on nature and wildlife, but the time came to start capturing us all.

Loveliness appears in abundance in nature; the pose of a turtle, the fuzzy caterpillar on a flower, the old, dying moth lying next to a newly fallen leaf, the fawn exploring the woods, the long reaching limbs of a tree seeking the sun, and the deep lines of time etched on the faces of loved ones showing the grace and wisdom years on this Earth have given.

It’s this passion of the natural world that I hope brings you peace.

One spring day my husband and I went for a hike at the Parklands Hayes Woods Preserve. We came upon this large white tree with many nests. They belong to the soaring Great Blue Herons. It was a wonderful experience!

Flora and fauna found in local state parks and conservation areas are where I began, however I also love snapping shots of our beautiful garden beds and all that appears in them. Some are also taken of life along the road.
